STEP 1 Position the mounting base on wall, behind gas meter set. Line up marking on right hand side of mounting base with
meter index . Use level to make sure the mounting base is straight. Mark on mounting base where you will drill four holes.


STEP 2 Fasten the mounting base to wall utilizing a minimum of four (4) fasteners complete with washers.
For stone and brick we recommend using a drill with a 3/16" cement bit, and 1/4" x 2 1/4" screws and 1/4" flat washers.
For wood or siding we recommend using a drill with a 3/16" drill bit, and 1/4" x 2 1/2" screws and 1/4" flat washers.


STEP 3 Snap on the cover for final installation.


NOTE: If existing meter set piping obstructs the positioning of the retrofit mounting base and/or cover,
notches can be made to the cover and mounting base to accommodate piping.
